In December 2022, the Impact Topeka Foundation hosted its first volunteer event packing holiday meals for two local schools. Children and their families gathered to package and deliver holiday boxes for more than 70 families in our community.
Every family received a fully cooked ham, pasta salads, bread, peanut butter, canned vegetables, fruit cups, and a pie for their holiday dinner.
Along with meals, each family also received a board game, bible, and stuffed animal. Children in every family were given gloves and hats, and every family received a handmade card wishing them a happy holiday.
